What is a Vampire ?
Vampires are mythological who feeds on the blood of the living. In story tales, vampires often visit love ones and causes mischief or deaths in the neighborhoods. the term vampire was not widely known until the early 18th century, after the adoption of vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where vampire legends were told, This increased of vampire superstition in Europe areas led massive hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked and people being accused of vampirism.
In modern times, the vampire is really fictitious character, although some believe in similar vampire creatures such as the chupacabra which is still present in some cultures.
The vampire of modern fiction was born in 1819 with the publication of the book or novel The Vampire by John Polidori; the story was very popular and the most influential vampire work until in 1897 Bram Stoker's novel Dracula showed the new modern vampire legend. The success of this book showed anew vampire genre, which is still popular today in the twenty-first century, From books, films, and television shows, vampire has since become a dominant figure in the horror genre.
